2008 PwC Award for Outstanding Client Service. Whilst working for PwC, Calvin was seconded to the Department for Education (DfE) to project manage the adoption of the ‘Unique Learner Number’, an ID number which stayed with the student throughout their lifetime of learning from school to university and beyond. The huge task required statute to be passed in Parliament, as well as IT system change within the DfE and all schools in the UK. This individual award was given in recognition for the complexity of the work successfully undertaken and the exemplary feedback provided by senior DfE executives.
2006 Fujitsu Services Silver Award for Excellence. Rob was contracted by Fujitsu Services to help a UK Government directorate design and implement a migration strategy from NT4 (+NTSE) domain to Active Directory (with HP Protect). The challenge included working on what was believed to be the first type of highly secure migration whilst working on a restricted network combined with confidential data held on hardened servers. This award recognised the quality and successful completion of a substantially intricate project.
